Seamar Awarded FMC Subsea Well Installations Contract in Mexico

HOUSTON (Nov. 28, 2007) - Seamar, a leading provider of subsea construction and fabrication services to the domestic and international oil and gas industry operating in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico and select Latin American markets, has been awarded via its subsidiary, Seamar Divers Mexico, a contract to install eight FMC subsea wells in Mexico. The FMC Technologies and Seamar Divers Mexico team are the first companies to install subsea wells in Mexico for PEMEX.

“We are very pleased with the business relationship we have developed with FMC,” said Eloy Anaya, President of Seamar. “This contract award is the first step of many as Seamar Divers Mexico continues to execute our plan to obtain market share in the Mexican offshore market.”

The estimated six-month contract calls for Seamar Divers Mexico to support the installation of eight FMC subsea wells at various water depths ranging from 150 feet to 170 feet. The first two of the eight FMC subsea well installations are currently being supported by Seamar Divers Mexico off the coast of Campeche, Mexico.
