Seamar Targeting West Africa

HOUSTON (May 12, 2009) – Seamar, a leading provider of subsea construction and fabrication services to the domestic and international oil and gas industry operating in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico and select Latin American markets, has targeted the African subsea market as a new revenue stream for this year and in 2010.

Based upon recent activity involving various drilling and oil & gas companies operating in West Africa, Seamar has begun to develop personnel and equipment resources in Equatorial Guinea and other countries of the region. Currently, Seamar is performing a five?year UWILD for Atwood Oceanics off the coast of Bata, Equatorial Guinea.
