Seamar Completes Chevron Genesis Project

HOUSTON (October 1, 2006) - Seamar Divers International, a leading provider of subsea construction and fabrication services to the domestic and international oil and gas industry operating in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico and select Latin American markets, announced today the completion of the Chevron Genesis Project- a nine-month project involving the inspection and repair of 16 risers aboard the Chevron Genesis spar located in Green Canyon 205 in the Gulf of Mexico.

Beginning in April 2006, Seamar recorded a total of 526 dives with zero incidents in water depths ranging from 90 to 360 feet utilizing 12 to 18 dive personnel. “We are extremely proud of our offshore personnel,” said Eloy Anaya, President of Seamar Divers International.”Our divers and offshore personnel performed exceptionally during the entire nine-month project and executed the planned diving procedures to perfection with zero incidents.”
